Hi, my name is Rich Rodecker and I am an independent consultant, specializing in developing solutions for the Adobe Flash Platform, specifically Flash, Flex, and AIR, with some Flash Media Server thrown in every once in a while.
Much of my Flash work for the last decade has involved connecting a front end client to some sort of backend: custom content management systems built with php/mysql, various REST APIs, Facebook’s Graph API, rss, xml etc. I’m comfortable with many different Flash and Flex frameworks but RobotLegs is my current favorite.
I’m also pretty comfortable on with php/mysql. In addition to the CMSs already mentioned, I’ve built REST APIs using the konstruct framework, and various image processing apps, most of which used IMagick (a native php extension for ImageMagick).
In addition, I’ve done a bunch of work with Amazon Web Services, including EC2, SQS, and S3.
With the resurgence of straight HTML-based development I have recently been getting reacquainted with Javascript and CSS 3 and wound up getting a pretty good handle on the Sencha Touch mobile app development framework.
